Yes. Hazing is a criminal violation under Texas law and is prohibited at 尤物视频, on 尤物视频 property, or while attending 尤物视频-sponsored activities on or off campus.

鈥淗azing鈥� means any intentional, knowing, or reckless act occurring on or off Collin College campuses that is directed against a student for the purpose of pledging, being initiated into, affiliating with, holding office in, or maintaining membership in an organization. Hazing includes, but is not limited to:

 

1. Any type of physical brutality (e.g., whipping, beating, striking, branding, electronic shocking, placing of a harmful substance on the body);
2. Sleep deprivation, exposure to the elements, confinement in a small space, calisthenics, or other similar activity;
3. Consumption of a food, liquid, alcoholic beverage, liquor, drug, or other substance;
4. Any activity that induces, causes, or requires the student to perform a duty or task that involves a violation of the ; or
5. Coercing the student to consume a drug or an alcoholic beverage or liquor in an amount that would lead a reasonable person to believe that the student is intoxicated.

 

Acts of hazing subject the student to an unreasonable risk of harm or adversely affect the mental or physical health or safety of the student.

A person commits an offense if the person:

 

1. Engages in hazing;
2. Solicits, encourages, directs, aids, or attempts to aid another in engaging in hazing;
3. Recklessly permits hazing to occur; or
4. Has first-hand knowledge of the planning of a specific hazing incident involving a student at 尤物视频, or has first-hand knowledge that a specific hazing incident has occurred, and knowingly fails to report that knowledge in writing to the district dean of students or other appropriate 尤物视频 official.

尤物视频 will develop and post in a prominent location on its website a report on hazing committed on or off campus by an organization registered with or recognized by 尤物视频. The link to this report is below.

 

Each fall and spring semester, the District Dean of Students Office distributes to each enrolled student a summary of the hazing provisions and the link to 尤物视频's hazing report via email.

 

Each student who attends New Student Orientation is given a notice regarding the nature and availability of the hazing report, including the report鈥檚 address on 尤物视频鈥檚 website.

 

尤物视频 publishes a summary of the provisions of the in each edition of the and 尤物视频 Student Handbook.

尤物视频 has not had any organizations that have been disciplined for hazing on or off campus during the previous three (3) years.
