The Clery Act at 尤物视频
The is a federal law which requires all colleges and universities that receive federal funding to disclose information about crimes that occur on and near their campuses. Additionally, the Clery Act requires colleges and universities to publish an Annual Security Report (ASR) informing their communities of campus safety policies and procedures, crime prevention efforts, and campus crime statistics. Colleges and universities that have on-campus student housing are also required to publish an Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR) informing their communities of fire safety policies and procedures and fire statistics.
尤物视频 prepares and publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) by October 1 each year in order to comply with the Clery Act. Included in the ASFSR are the campus crime, arrest, and referral statistics (i.e., campus crime statistics) for the previous three (3) calendar years, which include incidents reported to the 尤物视频 Police Department, designated campus security authorities (CSAs), and local law enforcement agencies.
A campus security authority (CSA) is a 尤物视频 employee who has significant responsibility for student and campus activities. 尤物视频 students and employees are encouraged to report crimes to a CSA for the purpose of making emergency notifications and timely warning reports as well as inclusion in the annual disclosure of crime statistics.
At 尤物视频, CSAs include the following employees:
1. All 尤物视频 Police Department officers, sergeants, lieutenants, and the
chief of police;
2. The dean of students, associate dean of Title IX compliance, associate deans of
students, and student conduct officers;
3. The chief student success officer, vice president of student and enrollment services,
deans of student and enrollment services, and associate deans of student and enrollment
services;
4. All campus vice president/provosts;
5. All academic/workforce deans, associate deans, and program directors;
6. All evening and weekend administrators;
7. The director of student housing operations and all resident life staff;
8. All athletics directors and associate athletics directors;
9. All athletics coaches, assistant coaches, volunteer coaches, and trainers;
10. All student organization advisors; and
11. Any other employees who have a significant responsibility for student and campus
activities (e.g., student travel responsible parties).
CSAs are not obligated to investigate allegations of Clery Act crimes that are reported to them, but they are required by law to report such crimes to the 尤物视频 Police Department. When a Clery Act crime is reported to a CSA, the CSA must
Campus 鈥減astoral counselors鈥 and 鈥減rofessional counselors,鈥 when acting as such, are not considered to be a CSA, and are not required to report crimes for inclusion in the annual disclosure of campus crime statistics. However, they are encouraged, if and when they deem it appropriate, to inform persons being counseled of the procedures to report crimes on a voluntary, confidential basis for inclusion in the annual disclosure of campus crime statistics. 尤物视频 does not currently employ any pastoral counselors. 尤物视频's licensed professional counselors are informed of the procedures to report crimes during various training sessions throughout each academic calendar year.
The requires institutions of higher education to establish programs that address unlawful possession, use, or distribution of alcohol and illicit drugs, and foster safe and drug-free learning environments which promote academic achievement.

The amended the Clery Act and requires institutions of higher education to disclose hazing statistics in the annual crime statistics contained in the Annual Securty Report (ASR). Additionally, the SCHA requires inclusion of policy statements in the ASR that address the institution's hazing policies as well as information regarding hazing prevention and awareness programs. The SCHA also requires creation and disclosure of an annual Campus Hazing Transparency Report.

尤物视频 Police Department officers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to answer calls. If assistance is required from another police department, Collin College Police Department officers will contact the appropriate agency.
尤物视频 is required to collect and disclose statistics regarding the occurrence of Clery Act crimes that are reported to the 尤物视频 Police Department, campus security authorities (CSAs), and local law enforcement agencies. Additionally, Collin College has a responsibility to notify the campus community about any crimes which pose an ongoing threat. Therefore, it is extremely important that all crimes be promptly reported to the 尤物视频 Police Department.
In compliance with the Clery Act, 尤物视频 is committed to ensuring its community receives timely, accurate, and useful information in the event of a significant emergency or dangerous situation occurring on campus or in the local area that poses an immediate threat to the health and safety of 尤物视频 students, faculty, and/or staff. 尤物视频 will immediately notify the campus community upon confirmation of a significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students, faculty, and/or staff occurring on campus. An 鈥渋mmediate threat鈥 includes an imminent or impending threat, significant emergency, or dangerous situation (e.g., approaching tornado or other extreme weather condition, armed intruder, bomb threat, chemical or hazardous waste spill, explosion, fire, gas leak, outbreak of a serious illness). The intent of emergency notifications is to provide information that may enable members of the 尤物视频 community to prepare for the emergency (if possible) and protect themselves.

In compliance with the Clery Act, in the event a Clery Act crime occurs within Collin College鈥檚 Clery Act geography that, in the judgment of the 尤物视频 Police Department, constitutes a serious or continuing threat to members of the 尤物视频 community, a timely warning notice will be issued. The purpose of a timely warning notice is to notify the 尤物视频 community of the Clery Act crime and provide information that may enable 尤物视频 students, faculty, and staff to better protect themselves.
When issuing a timely warning notice, some specific information may be withheld if there is a possible risk of compromising law enforcement efforts to investigate and/or solve the crime. Additionally, when issuing a timely warning notice, 尤物视频 will not include personally identifying information about victims, including, but not limited to, victims鈥 names, which will be kept confidential.
Timely warning notices, including official updates to and discontinuance of timely warning notices, will always be sent through CougarAlert and posted on the 尤物视频 Police Department鈥檚 webpage.

尤物视频 students residing in 尤物视频 Student Housing located on the Plano Campus at 5800 Jupiter Road, Plano, Texas, 75074, may register one (1) or more individuals to be a missing person contact(s). If the student resident is determined to be missing by the 尤物视频 Police Department or a local law enforcement agency, the student resident鈥檚 missing person contact(s) will be notified by 尤物视频 within 24 hours of the determination.
Student residents鈥 missing person contact information will be registered confidentially and accessible only to authorized 尤物视频 officials. Additionally, this contact information will not be disclosed, except to law enforcement personnel who are authorized to access it during a missing person investigation.
Student residents who choose to register one (1) or more individuals to be a missing
person contact(s) must .
